| Although looking a bit like a wine-bar, this local pub is a friendly bar with a regular clientele as well as passing trade from the many restaurants in the same stretch of road. There is a free car park at the rear - the small yard acts as a small beer garden in summer. Richard and Stacey took-over in March 2005 and the pub has benefitted from a general tidy-up and attention to detail. Sky Sports is on offer (the only place in the area) some evenings and weekends and an exciting 2006 World Cup is envisaged.
