| Now called the Silk Trader, this reasonably large pub just outside Macclesfield's centre is owned by Robinson's. Unicorn is the regular ale. Trooper was the guest. In this my 6th Cheshire pub of the day, it was the first with a real cider. Rosie's Pig was being dispensed from a box behind the bar. The pub was crowded and quite noisy.
