was a special occasion. went to the hundred house with my husband. turned out to be the worst night out for food i've ever had. took almost an hour for the food to arrive, and onceit HAD finally arrived, steak was dripping in blood and still cold in the middle, with also chips and peas barely warm. my husbands meal wasn't very nice either, he had fish which again was cold and wasn't cooked properly. with cold peas and chips. i would recommend this place for animals only that enjoy raw disgusting, non cooked food, i am extremely disappointed and i will be taking it further. anonymous - 30 Oct 2007 20:47
The Hundred House is nicely refurbished and strives to offer food at a reasonable price. Currently you can buy two selected evening meals for £10, with an even better deal at lunchtime. The selection of 'deal meals'is HUGE and the portions are more than generous. The staff are the most helpful people you could wish to meet. I eat there frequently and recommend it to many others. I have arranged club meals here (12 to 16 people) and the staff have gone out of their way to ensure the evening has gone smoothly. Nothing is too much trouble. Our club members meet there again on 3rd March and we are all looking forward to the friendly evening and the good (and frankly, cheap) food! aardvarksrus - 20 Feb 2007 14:45
Nice interior, pretty good beers and the showing of Sky sports creates a good atmosphere. More real ales on offer would be appreciated. Restaurant has a good choice, and is usually petty quiet. The only real problem with this pub is the exceptionally aggressive and rude bar staff. If you can handle rude and aggressive bar staff after spending the evening filling their till, then this is a fairly good place to have a beer. andy_hazell_29 - 2 Feb 2007 18:31
