| Popped in here during my lunch break whilst temping in the laundry opposite. Beer was in good order, food was well presented and good value for money. Young girl behind the bar was very friendly. Proper locals type pub, where you can have a game of pool, watch some footie and listen to some music. Some of us still like this sort of atmosphere you know. Life is meant to be fun sometimes. | One of the last remaining town 'locals' in Maidenhead — a fine selection of ales, a friendly demeanour, and a goodly crowd of honest to goodness local clients who enjoy regular jam sessions, karaoke, crib, darts, and (from time to time) the most difficult quiz night of any pub in the area.
