| This is my local and I got to say that out of the other western expat pubs in Bahrain it takes the biscuit! You get the best pint of the black velvet on the Island and the food has got loads better. As a bit of a bonus there's a couple of really tasty bits working behind the bar!!! Don't know why the review says JJ's Murphys because all the time i've been going it's just JJ's regardless of that top pub great fun and you always can have a good laugh with teh boys on match day! | jj's is a very good pub. good atmosphere, usually a good crowd of people from the uk. good happy hour from 12-6pm only a dinar a pint. good result. good food as well. everythings good. the bar man mansoor is a looney tho... anonymous - 23 Nov 2003 09:32 |
| (are you doing foreign pubs? :) ) Irish theme pub, the trendiest pub in Bahrain. Packed on Wednesday and Tursday nights before closing and pushing everyone next door to the nightclub (Barneby Joe's). It reopens for breakfast for those serious party dudes. 1 Million BHDs (~2.6m USD) spent on converting and furnishing the premisis. big screen TVs often showing sporting events. get there early to grab your stool. pool tables upstairs. open every day. top place. matt - 23 Apr 2002 11:28 |
