Not just under new but better management. All the major work has been done to the outside but inside still needs to be addressed. Bar staff are friendly but beer leaves a lot to be desired and is a bit on the expensive side. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there, would rather go to abbey moor golf club, the holly tree or the castle.

Went in after watching some Sunday morning football in the sports club next door and needed refreshment. (Thirsty work "Watching footbal!!"). Very disappointed as the only ale available was John Smiths (Ale??) and Courage Best ("Best" that they can do!!). Decided on the Courage which it seemed was tapped into the nearest vinegar bottle!!! Yek! Won't be back.

Good place for watching football though, they've got the latest satellite dish that gets all the premiership games.

Yeh, it's a little pikey-tastic in there. The beer is okay; reasonably priced but nothing special. I ate in there once and was not impressed. Barstaff seem friendly enough but would not go out of my way to go back :-(

I used to drink here, shame the evil pikies are now next door. Perhaps the staff can put some arsenic in their drinks.
