Not too bad a place, with the added advantage of fully opening front windows to get a bit of air circulating on a very hot summer's day. Four real ales on, including the new Banker$ Draft from Wickwar Brewing Company (but you would never know this as the pump clip is the first one I've ever seen without the brewery's name on it...). The manager was a friendly chap too. rpadam - 1 Jul 2009 21:42
Contrary to the previous review, this pub was very much open when I visited on Saturday. It's ok but nothing special - they do serve a choice of three real ales though. pubcollector - 15 Aug 2007 00:04
Closed down - thank God. Now a sushi bar with a very snooty gay club underneath. Mr.Raffles - 11 Aug 2007 22:47

I was there in early July on several occasions. Once was England's last appearance in the World Cup, others were less frenetic. I found the staff excellent, and the food delightful. I also appreciated the stuffed kangaroo. McManly - 27 Sep 2006 06:33
