Real ale is now available - I had a geat half of Sharps Doombar.

This is a very solid local pub. Dutch Landlord is nice and keeps his beers well and the pub clean. The Sunday spread laid on is great and the screens to watch football are terrific. Regulars aren't from the landed gentry, but they are friendly.

I wouldn't go if you are looking for real ale; There isn't any.

Definitely recommended.

Does this pub still have pool tables? I like a nice game of pool with a pint.

I watched the Chelsea v Man Utd game here yesterday. Two large screen (picture sharper in the music room). Best free nibbles I've ever seen in pub. Good atmosphere. Recommend it for watching football.
