Go often. Bar Staff and Landlady very friendly. Beers and wine good selection. Food OK. Landlord is a prick. Get a personality sunshine and get that chip off your shoulder. Warren_Luddle - 16 Feb 2010 14:19
fantastic pub - good food and great place to drink when I'm back in Oxford next year I will be going back welling01 - 3 Nov 2009 10:36
By far the best pub in Oxford. We've just returned from our annual visit to Oxford, and after exploring multiple pubs, settled on the Dew Drop as our regular watering hole. Excellent food. Great landlord and staff. We'll be back next year. pelias - 17 May 2008 19:50
Pretty much the longest serving landlord in oxford, loads of friendly regulars, great sports coverage, good food, fantastically kept real ales (4-6 at a time), great front and back gardens in the summer (one to hide and one to be seen). This pub has been a big part of my life for about 5 years! (i'm only 24!) mjlk - 7 Dec 2007 01:59
With summer (2007) approaching worth noting that the back garden/yard is a suntrap at lunchtime. The beer is always in good condition -- the food less so. Wealthy overseas students from the nearby language schools are in evidence. Tables are out the front to enjoy the hustle of "Main Street, Summertown." The licensee has been around for ever and sponsors the local rugby league team. Braganca - 26 Apr 2007 23:07
