| Not very friendly, called in for a sandwich at Saturday lunchtime during a visit to the Jewellery Quarter for a special Birthday present for the wife. Decor a bit dingey, beer okay but expect the locals to get their food served long before you. We had to wait 40 minutes for our sandwiches. People arriving at the pub well after us got their food long before us. I placed our order on arrival just before 1.30, menus and condiments removed from tables at 2pm even though there were no times on the menus, I checked, the woman doing this didn't even have the courtesy to ask if we were eating. The food only arrived after I complained about the wait. They were busy but not rushed off their feet.
