| This pub originally the wrong setting on the Sky Digibox meaning the pictures looked fat and distorted on their plasma TV. But the manager was helpful and actually listened to his customer's concerns (unlike many other managers in other pubs), so with a little advice from me, the widescreen setting on the Digibox has now been corrected to provide the *full* widescreen picture without any bits missing! Come here to catch the Premier League on Sky Sports in the way it's meant to be seen! widescreen - 5 Nov 2007 20:10 |
| Was in here on 8th Sep for the Scotland football match, good banter, so stayed on and watched the England game too, a good night was had by all! Returned after my trip to Paris for the football and enjoyed another good night on 14th Sep watching the rugby, although the regulars didn't seem to enjoy it quite as much! | Was pleasantly surprised when I visited this place. Had a couple of bottles of beer one Saturday early evening. Nothing spectacular but did the job alright. keep_it_green - 23 Apr 2007 15:16 |
| Went here to watch the Champions league final, packed to the rafters. Enjoed the beers here indeed. My only gripe was only 3 staff on what must have been surely expected to be a busy night in North London Dr_Lashley - 18 May 2006 21:23 |
| I never really used the Agricultural much despite working 100 yards away for the best part of 2 years. No real major problems with the place but they had a poor reputation for the quality of their beers. The prices are a bit higher than normal but this did help keep out the local riff-raff from the nearby street market. The interior is fairly comfortable without being snobbish or up-market and the large picture windows ensure that you can decide whether it is to your taste before you go in. I certainly never had a problem with feeling (or being treated) as if I was too old or too young and I would say it has a fairly universal appeal. You could certainly do a lot worse but, in an area with a huge diversity of pubs, you could also find a lot better. RogerB - 21 Nov 2005 16:33 |
