a really nice place to go that retains the classic pub interior. Just having been taken over recently, they are working out the needs of the area but are most willing to please. I have brought friends and family and all have enjoyed the friendly service. The man running the operation, Rupert, knows his beers!! If you visited prior to this year, you need to give it a try and be sure and ask Rupert what he would suggest. We wish you a long and good run!!

used to go to this bar before the change of ownership it was a really nice friendly place to spend some time - sadly the new owner ( I believe he's some celebrity) seems to have taken the policy of driving the regular or normal custom away and only wants the shallow high paying celeb wannbees as customers .
If your and orange faced , X factor watching , tastless , vulgar, more money than sense chav it will be right up your street .
If your in any way normal - DON'T GO NEAR THIS PLACE

Owned by Piers Morgan is it.

Well that's this pub removed from my list until he sells up.

i paid a visit to this bar with my girlfriend, and was shocked VERY POOR SERVICE BY THE STAFF OVER PRICE BEER AND MENU. ( I mean its not Mayfair) When i questioned the pricing the answer i got was " don't you know who owns this bar?". I never knew we had to pay extra for that, i was also told its not an Macdonalds. If your like me and want real old style pubs with real ale go to the city WC1 area where they don't rip you off. And the staff don't think they are doing you a favour by serving you, MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER PUBS TO BE FOUND , DON'T WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY HERE.

I admit, I am hugely biaised as I have been hanging around at the Cab for nigh on two years now. However, this place is a real gem. The bar is in the throws of a long drawn out refurb at the moment, but apparently the bar will retain almost all of it's features, with just a minor change with a stairwell added to the new loos... Will the guys be able to get in and out of the toilets now, that will be no fun!!??

The staff have always been friendly and a pleasure to talk to, this hasn't changed. The management on the other hand has changed and I'm delighted to see the "local's favourite" running the place at the moment.

If you haven't discovered the Cab, pop in and enjoy the ambience, it's unusual to find such a nice clientele and atmosphere anywhere in London.
