please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Still standing, but looking ragged now. I guess the demand for flats has somewhat diminished since the property developers bought it. Poor them(!)

I recall this place in the mid 90s - 'twas a lot of fun back then, but a return visit in 2003 indicated it was pretty much on it's last legs when it closed.

This pub is currently closed and boarded off. Doesn't look like it has much of a future.

In the 1970's this pub was my local and in those far off days it was a popular place to visit.I recently walked past and felt saddened by the state of it,but it isn't alone unfortunately.

Bit of a dive with a dusty flavour and chairs with no spring left in them. Not much choice but reasonably priced. Nice view of the park accross the way where you may witness a mugging or two. Not ideal for a long session but surprisingly entertaining on Karaoke nights on a Friday.
Be warned-This is a friendly pub but some of the people have that far-away look in their eyes that suggests that they may be one drumstick short of a bargain bucket.

Not bad at all. Was my local for a while years ago. Had a good beer garden, selection of taps, Friday night disco and was situated across from the Picturesque Pymmnes park.
