| This simply is not a pub. They've taken something which has nice features and character, and added neon lights. It's horrible, and if a "pub" is what you are looking for, and you know a good pint, I would advise you steer well away. VerminWatch - 25 Jan 2012 08:06 |
| I didn’t see any tumbleweed either, but I did have to order my drinks off a rude young barmaid that really didn’t want to serve me. I’m not sure what her problem was as I was looking forward to my first pint of the day and I was nothing but polite to her. I thought that she must be having a bad day, but she was fine with all the locals, maybe my face just didn’t fit. Anyway, this pub is fairly basic with a generic draught selection, a couple of pool tables, Sky Sports and three plasma screens. The England v West Indies game was being shown and there was some good banter going on between the regulars, who all seemed friendly enough. I can’t see myself returning here again as I live miles away and I certainly wouldn’t make a special trip to sample the delights of Seven Sisters again. Strongers - 19 May 2009 08:02 |
| As a frequent visitor to East Africa and probably a less frequent visitor to London I usually combine the 2 by having a few bottles of Nile Special here if I'm in the big city. Good little boozer well friendly no tumbleweed in sight. anonymous - 31 Jul 2007 17:39 |
