| Yes, I have been to this pub. I watched the Rugby there. I went for the first time, and left as though i'd been a hundred times. Everyone was very welcoming. There was a band on as well, and it was the one mentioned in previous reviews, Contraband. Very professional, excellent entertainment. Keep an eye out for them. | Always something going on and I've tried the lot!! Tuesday quiz night...good crowd, good prize money and questions that I could answer (some of them anyway) Thursday Jam....A complete mixture of talents, some you want to stop and some you want to go on all night! Sat Night..Always a good band. Sun....Poker tournament, new one on me, but they help you through and teach you how to lose gently...... Wouldn't drink anywhere else in the area..
