Spent a comfortable night here (29 Feb)Upgraded without asking to larger, recently renovated double room (The Boycott) having booked their cheapest. Splendid evening at the bar drinking LBW and enjoying the top quality bar snacks. The locals are friendly and the bar staff are even friendlier. Best full English breakfast for years. Couldn't get a table for lunch as they were fully booked which says something about their food. paddymiguel - 1 Apr 2008 16:00
I booked a room for a collegue. The accomodation was such poor quality that he left and went elsewhere. There was no heating, phone or internet connection available. Despite leaving I was charged the full nights fee using the credit card number I gave as a guarentee. I would not recommend anyone stays here. anonymous - 30 May 2007 17:24
Excellent food and good beer (try the LBW). Highly recommended. anonymous - 6 Feb 2006 14:11
A great pub and fantastic restaurant, although the food was slighly better last year (2003). Lovely beer patio for the summer. Vickilou - 1 Dec 2004 06:44
