I took my girlfriend in here, and its nearly always trebles for singles on all the spirits, so if you can stand up when you come out its a miracle.

We were talking about this pub the other day, and I insisted she had been in and she insisted she had not. 'Sharkeys' rang no bell with her, but the place that does trebles for singles rang loud and clear.

On a Thursday and Friday night can get very busy. Probably gets a little bit less busy now since George Street has died off.

Only one of a few pubs in Hull that are actually trying to provide a "trendy" place to drink in. It does get full, so go early and get fancy cocktails down your neck.

Obviously way to busy on a Saturday but it also has triples for singles. GENIUS!!

I used to love this place. The great cocktails, the comfy wooden booths with their battered leather sofas, the shark sticking out above the bar, the ties on the wall, the friendly bar staff, the open (midweek) music policy. It's all gone a bit too plasticky and shiny for my liking nowadays, but maybe that's just me being stuck in my ways...
