| We arrived approx 10.30 on a sunday night having driven down from east yorkshire, gagging for beer and starving. The White Horse in the same village) refused a child in a pram(who was asleep) to stay in the main area of the pub. The Landlady of the Kings Arms asked what food we would like and gladly laid on a feast for 6 at a reasonable cost. Superb hospitality. | used to be an excellent pub but unfortunately due to the construction of terminal 5 has gradually gone down hill. food is very good and staff are always polite. very clean but no atmosphere. would probably do good trade if they put in sky or something. anonymous - 23 Nov 2005 12:08 |
