| Just called in here tonight, reviews are spot on, good pub, friendly welcome, as described. Top toilets, I have never used a pub toilet as clean and nice looking as these. | What a crackin little country boozer. Clean, friendly, open fireplace as mentioned. Doing a happy hour every day on lager, beer and cider. Had the County Ruddles and was a flawless pint. | Decent Pool room, kept in very good condition, traditional in look but not old world. Barman/licensee was friendly and chatty. Apparantly has log fires all winter, but has a warm candle effect fire every night in summer, also candles on each table, very cosy, the wife loved it. Beer was good, 3 ales 1 rotating guest.
