| This is a great pub, good beer, excellent food and friendly service. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection - you could tell that it had been cooked there and then and not kept warm and dehydrated under hot lamps. | Had a great meal here on Thurs eve - home made curry, excellent at only a fiver. Others with me loves ths oup and fish too. Also a brilliant pint of London Pride. This place went through the doldrums for quite a few years I think but these days it's spot on, was busy too with eaters so word has got around. Only pub worth going to in Mid Calder these days.
