Came in on a wednesday night. Terrific open mic night. The acts were superb. Good pint of Tribute. Wish we had some pubs like this where I live.

Impressive building from the outside but seems quite gloomy inside. Through the back there is an enclosed garden / smoking area. Doombar, Old Speckled Hen and Betty Stogs on handpump. Tried the Betty Stogs which was in OK condition. Again another quiet place on a midweek lunchtime. Decent pub food on offer.

The best pub in Wadebridge. Reasonable prices, friendly knowable service, offering the best live music around with a good atmosphere full of a varied, well behaved, age range...
If one likes good food, decent drink, live music, enjoys watching live sports, or playing pool (20p certain days) then this is the place to visit. Smokers have a nice outside area also. Always an ejoyable visit...

change of owner since last visit 12 months ago, now doing good pub food only until 8pm so as not to offend those who dont wish to hang around for the live music which starts at 9.30pm on a fri, sat and weds, excellent roast and good rep for breakfast, also has added 3 en-suite rooms on top floor having viewed can honestly say are really nice.
good selection of beers and lagers, garden thru back of pub, children and dogs welcome. if you are a live music fan this is the place to be on a weekend, not for the faint hearted as can be a bit loud sometimes!!

Family pub! you gotta be joking may have been 4 years ago now a loud, unbearable music dump crowded at weekends with local riff raff when they're not in the Swan. Avoid if your over 30!
