Had a good selection of ales available and decently priced at around £2.30 a pint

OK, it's standard Wetherspoons formula, but the beer was excellent, a decent mixed grill and coffee for £5.99 and very friendly and helpful bar staff - They must be doing something right. Despite it being busy for a Watford game, no problems at all getting served. Unlike Gann, we had real glasses to drink out of!

Typically large, some might say soulless Wetherspoons. Long large main bar on two levels. A smaller connected room that is brighter and perhaps more foody. Small patio area at the back which is OK if it's sunny. Ales are generally well kept. Staff a bit hit and miss.
