Great intimate little place with great atmosphere and interesting jukebox, but ........it has what must be the worst gent's toilet in London (and I've been in quite a few bad ones). The ammonia smell from the one urinal is unbelievably strong when the door is opened! A tip for anyone going to Bradley's therefore is don't stand or sit too close to the gents!! Still, I suppose it all adds to the ambience of the place!!

My affair with Bradleys has been ongoing for, blimey, nearly 20 years now, and I always try to pop in for a nostalgic pint when I'm in the area.
10 years ago, we started off at Bradley's for my stag night and never managed to get out of there, however I do remember finally lurching out of there in full make up (including toenails painted!) with a pair of knickers in my pocket, all dares for the evening completed.
Sadly, my latest visit on a weekday afternoon was an anticlimax, as my beloved downstairs bar was unattended and all lights off. I hope this isn't a sign of the times, as I've never seen this bit closed before. Reassuringly, in typical Bradleys style, the door to downstairs wasn't locked, nor even closed, so I wandered down and stood in the bar area for a minute, which hasn't really changed in decades.
Respects thus paid, I wandered off for a snifter elsewhere.
As it was closed, it loses a point. Otherwise, for it's stubborn "differentness" and fantastic beers (ok, as well as nostalgia), I would have given a 10.

cue the cavalcade of spanish girls, exit stage left for the bar Nazi. Still a good bar, despite the busybody glass collector/traffic marshall who herds customers from the road and tells them where they can stand. the man is a pest, par excellance.

Tiny, and usually rammed, but lots of character. Good selection of lagers, brilliant jukebox, and occasionally some attractive spanish girls hanging out. The toilets are terrible though, but maybe that's part of the charm.
