The best pub in London - no doubt. Always a party. shepjon - 29 Feb 2008 11:49
i think this pub is brilliant! Prompt, friendly and good looking staff. The beer is great too. Would definitely recommend. Alix - 1 Feb 2007 14:36
I think the friendly / unfriendly debate on the Savoy Tup is asy to decipher. Going in wearing an antiwr t shirt amongst a gaggle of suits I got a really warm welcome from the barmaids and priority service! Perhaps their attitude to punters is determined by the attitude they get from the clients. Certainly when a loads of suits are watching the football in there, the staff's spirits must droop. tallman - 17 Nov 2006 16:27
Don't know about the upstairs bar - i was on the street on a friday. Barstaff were brilliant (it helped that it appeared to be hotpants day) but they were superbly efficient. Beer was drinkable, shame about the location - they need to sort out some outside seating. womble54321 - 30 Jul 2006 04:43
Good location, but the Guinness was not so hot..... didn't seem to be much choice in the upstairs bar either. Service was generally attentive..... However barmaid closed the bar upstairs at 10.30 while it was still quite full without telling anyone - I don't mind smaller bars closing early so the staff can start to tidy up, but I would say it's common courtesy to let the people in the bar know and maybe order one more before moving... or am i worng there? adamsant - 17 Jul 2006 16:15
