| Been a while since I was in here and last time they had about half a dozen hand pulls all reasonably kept. Last night, went in to get out of the rain and cos I could hear a band playing. The ban were dreadfull and too loud and the beers have gone. Settles for McEwans export which is routinely a good pint badly served. When I was handed an ice cold glass, it was bad news. | So...seems like the Wig's about to get a big new rufurb, they're trying to get it back up to standard, seems there's already a Grammy nominee coming to do a gig, think I might check them out again. yakhar - 15 Aug 2010 12:07 |
| Admittedly it was the 2008 version but was saddened to find no real ale on offer after finding this place through the good beer guide. I did pick up a copy of CAMRA's "North Sea Ale" in the pub to read so obv just having a bad day i hope.I opted for a pint of Sbow(£2.40) instead. The pub itself was a nice traditional local boozer with friendly quick service, 5/10 fat_beer_badger - 10 Jul 2010 21:34 |

| This pub has gone downhill since the last time I visited a couple of years ago. It no longer serves any real ales, and the quality of the rest of the drinks was poor. blue_scrumpy - 20 Mar 2009 18:10 |
