The Half Moon is a little gem of a pub situated in Walton, on the outskirts of Felixstowe. An Adams owned pub. Mostly Adams real ales, and some non Adams real ale. Well decorated with a lounge; a snug and a bar. Can get busy on weekends. Outside areas and a car park. Next to Felixstowe to Ipswich bus stop (74,75(A),77 & others); 1/4 hourly during the day and hourly in the evenings. Present landlord: Patrick Wroe zaax - 15 Jun 2010 23:46
Cosy pub which does good ale. One for the drinkers. Trel - 7 Oct 2006 18:40
Hi, Sorry not really a comment about the pub its self. All though I used to know it when it was the Tap and Spile and should imagine its a damn site better now its back to the Half Moon again!! Just wondering if anyone that drinks there remembers a landlady called Heather Smith (when it was T & S). Im just trying to get in contact again but dont know where she is. Any help would be greatly received. TA AdrianFriend - 10 Jan 2005 15:16
Patrick, the publican, runs a wonderful friendly traditional drinking house. The Thursday night quiz is justly popular. The ale is always in excelent condition and pubs like this are a national treasure. theo - 7 Jan 2005 17:09
Small quiet pub, no music, no food served. One for the drinkers. Adnams bitter on tap, with guest beers regularly changing. Beer garden, non-smoking area, with the whole pub fitted with anti-smoke air conditioners. Lovely Staff too! Mark Cadweladder - 17 Nov 2004 23:30
