If you want food, I would advise avoiding this place. Food is not prepared fresh, but kept hot in a cabinet which is part of the bar. Come on, this is 2009! Fair enough in a Harvester where you know what you are getting, but not in a place that looks like a bistro from the outside. The food is AWFUL. It may be OK for a drink, but they should stick to that.

came to winchester on a day trip from london to visit friends. went to the only "wine bar" in winchester! wine bar?? what a joke! seems more interested in cocktails than wine. a disgrace to its name. dirty place and unattentive staff. left after 1 drink and went to the wetherspoons next door.

Had a very enjoyable smoked fish meal in here last year when I took Mrs Quinno out for the day. No ales that time, but an enjoyable hour nonetheless.

Popped by on the weekend crawl but still no ale, and this time had bigger fish to fry (see what I did there?!?) so carried onwards.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. I love it because it gives me somewhere to go after 11. I hate it because its a F*****N DEATH TRAP. Imagine a fire in there. you'd stand no chance of surviving that one. Burnt to a crisp then trampled to death by a load of rugger players. Scary. Always stand by the door or your raging paranoia will ruin your evening, trust me.
