| This has re-opened as a Crown Carvery, and they're not even calling it The Elms any more. As it is, it's OK, for a Crown Carvery: the food's perfectly OK and very cheap, and the beer tolerable and very cheap. | this place has gone up in my estimation!! it's just been done up and has new managers in who have done good. we ate and for a pub with usually bad food it was a great meal and we stayed and done the sunday night quiz. really funny, well worth a visit. edimart1 - 23 Mar 2010 11:53 |
| A fairly grim pub with sticky carpet, dirty tables, and no really decent beer. I wish it was better, as Aldridge has no decent pubs in the centre: the only reasonable one nearby is the Red Lion in Station St. stymaster - 28 Aug 2008 22:07 |
