| Nice food but you will be rushed. We booked in advance for seven people at 1.30pm on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived at 1.20pm and announced ourselves we were told immediately that our table was available until 3.00pm when another party were booked in. We were invited to sit down at 2.00pm and at 2.45pm were asked whether we wanted a sweet before we had finished the main course. At 2.55pm we were asked if we would or would not be having a sweet as the table was needed. | Good summer pub. Food is quite good and the beer is well kept. Can get very crowded, and like a lot of pubs in the area, has some pretentions to gourmet cuisine. Don't believe them, but the food is not bad at all despite that. alkohole - 15 Mar 2007 13:42 |
