Disgraceful pub, rude staff, appauling manager, rank drinks and disgusting food. and thats me being nice. cant actually believe this pub is attached to a place that allows children. -100/10.

visited this pub last saturday, had the most disgusting, rude service from the poor excuse of a manager. So bad i actually left before even finishing my order. Anyone considering visiting this pub with or without children i suggest you steer WELL CLEAR. That is unless you want a pint of slop, shouted at when you ask kindly to change it and sworn at when youre leaving, carrying a 1 year old child.

Think i actually dodged a bullet by leaving and not eating there, as if they behave like that front of house, i cant even imagine what they behave like back of house, let alone the kitchen!

Suggestion: If youre nearby this pub and are hungry or thirsty, theres a BP garage not too far down the road, failing that, GO HUNGRY!

The new manager arrived at the beginning of December 2008 and already there is a huge difference. The hoardes of travellers are gone and any that are left know that it is unwise to misbehave as the new Manager, a female by the way, will not allow it. She has also segregated the pub/restaurant into a family area and an adult area so catering for all needs. Try it i promise you will see the difference

Hmmm. Had to stay here when working back in 2003 in nearby Greenford. Again, location problematic, as it's on the main A40 out of London and in an area which is probably not featured in 'Time Out' on too many occasions.

Limited selection of real ale, although copious quantity of different lager. I founf the service to be reasonable, if a little erratic depending on which shift manager was on.

Revisited the pub earlier this year, and hadn't changed a great deal. Menu is substantial but food is more quantity than quality. Given the absence of real alternatives, it would be worth visiting, particularly if you have small children. (there is a Child's play area attached to the pub) Otherwise, a far better dining experience at the 'Starvin Marvins' diner nearby. Not top of my list!
