Went here to see my friend's band play last night. Nice bar (although a bit of an odd layout for a live music venue). Beer was reasonable at 2.80 a pint, bar staff were chirpy enough.... bit off the beaten track, but would probably come here again if I'm in the area.

Is this the perfect pub? I'm gutted I don't work in Clerkenwell anymore but will definitely be trying to find excuses to come back down this way.

The previous comments are all acccurate and Gary is a great guy trying to make this place work, but it's a little off the beaten track despite being in so cool Clerkenwell. This means that if he deosn't get some customers soon, it'll be closing, so go and check it out. The sofas are the comfiest in London, the fire is cosy, food is good and if you like entertainment he has great nights. Give it a try soon

Lovely comfy atmosphere with cool music and very good food. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Lots of different areas to choose from. Comfy sofas, trendy cocktail area and a separate restaurant area. Gary, the owner is usually around to make the night fun!

This is a right little hidden gem !! Just off the beaten track but a stones throw from Exmouth Market and Farringdon road this place has great atmosphere and wide selection of beers wines and spirits and a great cocktail list - they also have a food menu which isn't actually that pricy for the area !! - and the foods godd !! Try it before everyone finds out about it !! Great atmosphere.
