HI Stephen
I don't suppose you have a record of The Victoria - showing an archive of the landlords from about 1901???????? the reason i am asking is that my husbands great uncle. Henry Riley - used to manage the pub probably about the 1920's ish. He was heavily into horse racing, he might even have some pictures in the Victoria showing himself with horses. We were up in York last week but didn't have time to pop in and see you. I know this is a long shot and am sorry for giving you a headache!!!!!
Hope you can help
Many thanks

A luxuroius pub with a proper restaurant with excellent high quality food and atmosphere.

Relatively expensive but well worth it.

Excellent rail links to Cattal train station and just off the A59.
