Smells like an ashtray, managed by two idiots, barry is a fat shit, jimmy is a pervert, tony the postman is a paeodophile and liz sticks!!! Southlondonlout - 13 May 2009 18:06
What a joke went to go to this pub last night and they keep the door closed and have a spy hole if this isnt a crack den then my name is rupert the bear the police should raid it and then hopefully it will be shut down and re opened as a proper pub! Gunner1 - 26 Feb 2009 10:13
Recently changed management. The exterior has been repainted charcoal grey. Whether or not the real ale policy ("We can't keep it 'coz the passing buses shake the casks & make it cloudy") of the previous incumbency will be exposed as a sham excuse remains to be seen. Some years ago I remember drinking Bass or Burton Ale in here with no qualms about traffic-induced haze in the beer. This is probably the only pub for miles which serves no proper beer, which matters little to its lager-drinking clientele. However, the pub is handy for the betting shop opposite, and even keeps a supply of slips handy. anonymous - 6 Sep 2006 23:35
The only pub I've been in that has free play table tennis for the customers. Which is the only reason to go there. pubcollector - 3 Jan 2006 23:46
