| Reasonably smart pub serving food until 10pm, good selection of drinks and food for all the family. Big enough to book part of it for a function if you want one, but still allow regular users in. | Not bad for a few swiftys before heading elsewhere, especially in summer. Quick service, ok food and ok beer, just the usual selection though. They do rooms as well if you overdo it and can't find your way home by other means. stainto - 16 Jan 2012 17:41 |

| Nice and pleseant, it's a two for one so the food is never going to be Haute Cuisine but it is pleasent enough and of course cheap enough that we are regulars there. The service is fast, but not too fast to make you wonder if it is just sitting around on a plate waiting for you! The staff and service are more than pleasent and DO NOT keep on disturbing or pushing starter/desserts or drinks. My only grumble is that in the summer they repeatadly ran out of ice..
