Now called the "Keg and Cask" - but don't sell Cask beer
Avoid I was charged £4.10 for a pint of Fosters.

A run down, piss stained hole full of incontinent manic depressives and wino's who sit in their own piss all day wishing they could walk far enough to the next nearest pub.

I never thought SIA licenses came in lucky bags until I saw the bouncers (or "door supervisors") in this place, they are an absolute joke and cause more trouble than they prevent. Would not recommend visiting this place unless you've got a death wish or you're a murderer on day release, in that case you'll fit right in!

This is the worst run pub in Hounslow, the manager is miserable and delegates too much to her Polish assistant instead. There is no bonhomie or "mine host" attention. The gents toilet is disgraceful, the urinal does not flush ever, the toilet floor is always soaked leading to urine being walked back into the pub leaving a stale urinal smell to the area of the pub near the toilets. There are no disabled toilets, probably because the management as I hear are very much against anyone disabled and go out of their way to make them unwanted.

The pub is ideally located opposite Hounslow West tube station, the only pub in this area yet it offers no food other than crisps/nuts. The pub does not offer card payment either, cash or nothing. What pub in this day and age doesn't take cards, especially within a mile or two of Heathrow with foreign tourists etc around. Only pubs in decline that the breweries have given up on, pubs soon to become blocks of flats. Maybe that is why the manager is so miserable, or maybe why the pub owners put her there in the first place, to accelerate the decline.

Definitely a place to miss.

i can remember when barbara took this pub over with her boyfriend back in the early 90s,when she worked in the travellers friend just down the road(now the drive through mc donalds) and it was a quite a good pub,but after a few years of neglect by the companys that controlled it i.e host,s/n etc.it fell by the wayside,as have so many other pubs....what a shame...no rating given not been there for years......but use the curry house just down the road every week!!!!!!!!!!
