| Just had a stay here after finishing the Pennine Way. Staff were friendly, helpful, food great, good range of ales on draught and bottled - the Pennine Way Bitter is a must for walkers and a nice brew too. | Following a serious fire there is no accommodation available until repairs are complete - expected to reopen as hotel in Spring 2007. But since July 2006 the bar and kitchen is back in action. Great food menu and excellent real ales. Try the Broughton IPA if available, although guest beers may vary.
