Lovely wine bar with comfy chairs.
Had a nice bottle of white with my long lost Clare.
You should go.

this is the best place in London to skive off work for the afternoon. Shame about the opening hours, though I could have happily staged long after 8pm.

Unique – The previous review was spot on, I knew who the manager was instantly! But, to avoid being repetitive, I would like to add that the menu is simple, the food excellent and that this was only surpassed by fine wine and good service. Whilst being smart is advisable do not be put off in the thought that this venue is formal as personally, I found it both comfortable and lively!

love this place - big chesterfield sofas, wood panelling, it looks like a traditional gentlemen's club. they serve champagne in wine glasses - so much cooler than champagne glasses! i'd suggest to anyone who are planning to go - dress up a bit, you'll feel much more comfortable. There are a lot of suited men there. The manager looks like he also runs a tailor's shop in saville row. Food is traditional.boiled scallops with bacon - anyone? great place.
