| loosing its appeal ; ** GET SOME BAR STAFF *** there is never (repeat) never any staff serving - where do they all go? the most Ive evr seen is three, which is utter madness!! The food is ok, but often the tables and floor are dirty. Food ok, drink expensive. Service appalingly bad (see it to believe it) having read the staff comments, I can now understand why; Like many other bars in gunwharf its staring to feel the strain of better bars elsewhere; so give them a hint ; Dont bother, and go elsehwre until they sort it out. secretreveiwer - 10 Jan 2008 16:23 |
| I actually work there and it is a dump, there are flies EVERYWHERE and the bar smells like sick. its got a pretentious menu and is horribly over priced (£8.10 for a double vodka redbull), worst of all however is the way laurel (the company in charge of the bar) treats its employees, we get £5.05ph and get 1 half hour break which is unpaid. last saturday i worked 8 hours of a 9 hour shift before i got my break. please feel free to complain nothing would please me more than seeing my managers get dropped in it. If you think we are rude and short with the customers, spare a minute to think of the last time you worked 8 hours with out a break. 1986dmc - 3 Sep 2007 20:35 |
| As bland as they come, even for gunwharf; no real beer and guilty of numerous crimes against soft furnishings. I've waited for several minutes to be served by the solitary barman before, and then swiftly wished I hadn't bothered when I realise what they charge. | Like most of its Gunwharf neighbours, Ha Ha is all style and no substance. It promises trendy gastro-pub food and a relaxed atmosphere. | Poor staff- never enough (usualy just 2 for a bar this size! what are they thinking) Expect a VERY long wait to be served over priced drinks. (at the bar we waited 20mins!)
