Football orientated pub with 4 Norwich Bear ales available

Great pub with olde worlde feel and inglenook fireplace. More modern conservatory bit out the back with pool table. 6 Norwich Bear beers on and the Legend and Pooh Bear were imbibed - both at £3.20/pint. Didn't think the beers tested my taste buds enough, wanted something that would fight back. Plenty of viewing screens to watch footy and stuff - managed to see Arsenal v Everton & a youth final between Norwich and Nottingham Forest.

Many positive attributes to this pub - well-appointed, staff friendly, loads of interesting beers including five from Norwich Bear. The position up from the station makes this the ideal first or last bar on a visit to the city. Well worth locating

Called in for a quick one before catching the train - ten minutes walk from the station.

A good selection of well-kept ales - 4 from Norwich Bear together with guests. Quiet in the early evening, but nevertheless a good feel about the place.

A great pub and a very warm welcome - especially on Saturday lunch when the landlady actually PEELED some REAL potatoes so that me and my mate could have some chips to accompany our bacon rolls.

The Norwich Bear beers on offer were superb and I we'll definintely be back next time in Norwich.
