| Absolutely packed when we visited on a Saturday night, its off the beaten track a little but still close to Shipston and Stratford. The whole village must have been in the bar, with the rest of the surrounding villages in the restaurant. Separate dining area and bar, as well as a function room for 20 at the back. Food was superb, and service was friendly and welcoming, despite the packed dining room and a separate big party in the room at the back. Serves a good pint of Hook Norton Best, but the house champagne has erased the other choices from my memory. Quirky but fine menu, with a reasonable choice for carnivores, veggies and fish-lovers.
