I think this is one of the best pubs in Poulton, and have the best bar staff that are very friendly and very good.

Not a bad bar. Has quite a bit of talent but most of the girls look exactly the same (fake tan, blond hair, WAG wannabees). Bar staff are pretty useless but its a good pub on a nice summer day and should be added on a Poulton pub crawl. Some decent strong beers on tap too although they all taste just like Carlsberg.

not as good as it used to be, a bit too chavvy at the weekend and some strange drunks in there sometims during the day! its a shame as it used to be such a good pub. Prices arent too bad and food is ok for the prices. Good atmosphere for the big games too.

I'm with Terry on this one. The Bull is a big mess that largely caters for the Chav market. If you want to have a fight or pull a 16 year old chain-smoker with 3 kids the Bull is your best bet in Poulton. Having said that the food is reasonably priced and half decent, but this doesn't really qualify as a saving grace. A last resort.

There used to be The Barn and The Bull. Now there's just The Bull. It's very modern with TV screens everywhere and doesn't have any real ale. The clientele at The Bull are mostly chavs and chavettes. Oh and Beckham wannabees - the night I was in there, a lad stood by the bar in full Real Madrid kit (including shin pads and boots). I've seen other lads in there dressed similarly - it must be some kind of Poulton trend! But it does have a no smoking area although not policed too well.
