The Crown and Thistle, Gravesend - pub details
Description
Re-opened in August 2011 by original CAMRA winning owner Warwick Gordon with his wife, Helen. Serving four constantly changing real ales, Young's Bitter, Westons and Double Vision ciders and perry and excellent wines.
The pub offers a friendly, warm, traditional pub atmosphere with comfy seating or upholstered bar stools. There is a dining area, sometimes converted to a performance area for visiting groups, where children are welcome.
The charming rear terraced garden is a sun-trap in the summer, with vines and hops growing along the fences and gazebo.
We pride ourselves on the superb quality of all our drinks, especially the beers, which are carefully selected to provide a range from dark to light and from all over the country.
Come and visit us soon - you don't know what you are missing!

Great pub just reopened. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Beer's as good as you'll get at the brewery! Beerjunky - 27 Nov 2011 17:31
It was open last night, though was near enough empty on a Saturday night. The pub has a run down feel to it and of the three ales on I tried the Wolf's 'Granny Wouldn't Like It', which was barely palatable. Not somewhere i'd fancy another. Maybe Longdog 1's knows something we don't but if it did close it wouldn't be a great loss on this offering. Snarling_Mallard - 11 Sep 2011 11:24
YET ONE MORE TO ADD TO THE CLOSED LIST!!!!!!!!!!! R.I.P longdog1 - 11 Sep 2011 08:38
