A good quench after a long day strolling through Prague. Particularly good on this visit was the straight Lezak pale lager which was very crisp and hoppy. Food portions very good, and service was quick. Note the venue has a menu in English, which I cannot remember seeing on my 2004 visit.

All good.

A good place to visit, if ever you are in Prague. You can buy the sampler selection of 8 beers before purchasing a larger drink. Our 8 were light, dark, wheat, banana, sour cherry, nettle, coffee and the beer of the month - blueberry. The blueberry was the best. Others amongst the group tried a champagne beer which was also very good. The food and service was fine. Well worth seeking out.

Bustling brewpub, with magnificent deep, gold, yeast beer and classic Czech dark (try the mix). Set below the Czech Research Institute of Brewing and Malting, a recommendation if ever there was one. Food's not bad either. Tried 40 different brews in the city recently, and this beer's in the top 3 in my opinion.Essential Prague beer stop.

Fantastic pub. The home-brew beers are excellent, I particularly liked the wheat beer, but the light, dark and 'mix' are also reaklly good. Not as strong as other brew-pubs in Prague, which is a good thing. Not so sure on the speciality beers, a small taster was more than adequate! The food was reasonable and well-priced. It gets very busy of an evening, so it's best to arrive early, or try it at lunch time. Definitely one of my favourite Prague pubs.

Good place, I would recommend the banana beer! Although when we went there seemed to be a lot of pre-reserved tables and the staff seemed a bit sick of having to deal with UK tourists.
