| Yet another new landlord, previous one bolted. Shame, as this is a damned good pub. GK ales on. Previously supplemented by a seasonal but availability seems to be a bit-hit-and-miss lately. usually, the beer is of good quality. Otherwise, the inside has a lot of character and it feels like a nice place to be, so I'd recommend a visit on that strength alone. Let's hope GK don't ruin by deciding it needs a 'refurbishment'. | Unusual back street local. Original panelling in what would have been seperate lounge bar before it was opened up into one room. Decent beer, although Greene King-heavy. Parking nearby can be awkward. Gristy - 19 Mar 2007 17:07 |
| Unfortunately, the Thai food speciality is no more. The Roebuck has been through a couple of changes of manager recently. Mike, the current manager leaves at the end of February. He expects that the incoming manager will continue to keep three real ales going - Greene King IPA, Abbot and either Moreland Bitter or a GK Seasonal. BJBeer - 16 Jan 2007 14:46 |
