user reviews of the Millbank Room (City Inn), Millbank

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

When you pay hotel bar prices you expect a bit of decent service. The bar staff here are not just disinterested, they're rude. I'll never go back - and recommend you avoid at all costs!

Not a pub - but a hotel bar. And probably the best one I have been to. Not a huge choice of drinking holes in Westminster so this is a Welcome addition. While it is expensive, the red sofa's and cream armchairs in the booth make it a wonderful place to unwind - and the drinks seem to last a little longer than usual. It is very trendy - but not sterile and pretentious.

Now - the cocktails, are just to die for. As well as doing the classic Martinis etc, they do interesting variations such as the Mellow Martini made with Lychee Liqueur and there is a Lychee in it.

A great place for a treat. You can even call ahead and reserve a booth by the window, as it can get rather busy!
