The pub itself is fine,it is the doorstaff that arent. In particular the main doorman who lets his personal flings and upsets affect the way he runs the door.If you are too fat, ugly or he just doesnt like you he will refuse you entry or throw you out at the drop of an hat. jo35 - 24 Mar 2008 21:03
Bit of a trendy one, great for the footy and food, great when busy, like drinking in a draughty barn when not! Beer lines could do with a clean as the Stella is rank! anonymous - 21 Mar 2005 04:22
Yeah, not a bad little boozer. However, it can get a bit rowdy and contentious during televised football matches and there is one chap who gets vocal during Man Utd games. I think he is a southern fan which oftern prompts lots of discussions about whether he is a true fan and attends these games. Nice Landlord and the restaurant does a mean Fishfinger sandwich (ketchup not included) Ted_Rogers - 11 Jan 2005 11:50
I've been here a good few times. Sunday night can be busy but the music is awful. It's one of the most popular bars in town and is often very busy +_ it has lots of space. I don't rate the food much though! anonymous - 7 Jan 2005 12:58
