New Owners, fantastic atmosphere, superb Sunday carvery!!!!! Group of 4 of us all had a 2 course meal for £10. Carvery has every vegetable you could ask for as well as pigs in blankets. You must visit this pub, even if it is just for your Sunday lunch!

New owners in the pub have given it a new lease of life! Sunday carvery was fantastic, landlord was carving and was not only welcoming and pleasant but generous with the three meat choices (pork, lamb and beef when we visited). Can only compliment the chef - great value for money, good quality food and our waitress made the whole experience very pleasant and enjoyable.
Have recommended to our friends and family, and have booked again for next week!

Still the only pub in the village but under new management! Excellent food - fresh local produce and very generous servings.
Friendly atmosphere and good beer in the bar - what more could you want. Highly recommend a visit

The only pub in the village!!
Used to be an old smugglers den. Does a wide range of meals, with specials on particular days of the week. Very good selection of real ale.
Big pub garden and warmly welcomes children.
