| this is now kings rhodes- a gary rhodes restaurant. we popped in for lunch-it was really nice- friendly and the food was really tasty and not too overpriced at all. it is not a pub by any means but for a nice meal without any pretentious staff it is excellent. fourforestfriends - 2 Mar 2009 14:54 |

| What a shame. they must have spent a fortune 'doing it up' - all they want now is customers! Strange really as this compares well for comfort with most Christchurch pubs. It always full for meals at lunch-times though as the local pensioners like a bargain carvery. satisfied - 31 Jan 2006 18:06 |
