| The Golden Lion is mint crack. the drink is cheap and nasty but 9 times out of 10 its spiked so its all good. There is genrally a good show on i.e people having a punch up and if your not up to the dancing there is a lovly black scruffy bench out side your welcome to sit on and get high. | The Golden Lion, in Seaham is located mins from the shopping centre and the sea front. It offers limited facilities which include the only nightclub in East Durham with a nightclub licence. The Lion has the Seaham community spirit at heart, and has for many years adapted and will I am sure continue to do so. anonymous - 31 Dec 2004 18:25 |
| After seeing most of the pubs in seaham I can honestly say this is the worst. trouble from the minute we walked in. I am not used to such an aggressive atmosphere and found this pub intimidating. The staff were rude and abusive. Stuart - 20 Aug 2004 19:55 |
