The Golden Lion is mint crack. the drink is cheap and nasty but 9 times out of 10 its spiked so its all good. There is genrally a good show on i.e people having a punch up and if your not up to the dancing there is a lovly black scruffy bench out side your welcome to sit on and get high. SEAHAM IS MINT CRACK.

The Golden Lion, in Seaham is located mins from the shopping centre and the sea front. It offers limited facilities which include the only nightclub in East Durham with a nightclub licence. The Lion has the Seaham community spirit at heart, and has for many years adapted and will I am sure continue to do so.

After seeing most of the pubs in seaham I can honestly say this is the worst. trouble from the minute we walked in. I am not used to such an aggressive atmosphere and found this pub intimidating. The staff were rude and abusive.
