Wretched in the daytime when rather like the Bunch of Grapes it serves as a refuge from over dressed Russian and Middle Eastern millionaires in Harrods and the Sloane St fashion stores

In the evening though it's better and can serve as somewhere to meet friends or colleagues for a quiet drink.

Live locally but have avoided here since an awful visit last year.Heard it had a refurbishment some time ago l gave it a go last week, and what did we find?Still awful with same probs, iffy beer, half menu not available, indifferent staff and same rude landlady as before.Place does look ok but will not return.Recommend either Bunch of Grapes or Tattersalls if in Knightsbridge.

Just had a refurbishment but they don't seem to have ruined the interior. The pool table has gone and the rear area is now dedicated to food. Beer is of average quality.

an unusual mix of people, good pub as long as it doesn't get too busy

Went there last week. Rubbish service downstairs so went upstairs to be greeted by a very fit young colombian girl. Beer was ok, was a bit of a nancy boy/poncey atmosphere, but would only go back to have another gander and chat with the Latina bird
